EXPLORE ON FOOT
Grab your hat and pack your hiking boots. The Valleys and Vistas region has some of the best hiking trails in Manitoba. Whether it's a meandering journey or an arduous hike that you're after, we have it all. With one of Canada's only two desert ecosystems, you shouldn't miss a hike through the expansive trails of the Isputinaw, the Spirit Sands Desert, or the famous Devil's Punchbowl in Spruce Woods Provincial Park. 

If the life and the shade of the boreal forests are more suited to your liking, you will undoubtedly want to hike the newly-built Langford Recreational Trail, or Rosedale Farm Trail systems where you'll enjoy the shade of Birch, Oak, Poplar, and Elm and the aromas of Pine and Spruce.

If you like your trails a little closer to civilization, Minnedosa has a great deal to offer with numerous walking paths throughout town,and the crown jewel Oxbow Nature Trail just south of the Minnedosa Dam. We kindly ask that you don't lose yourself, but feel free to lose the daily grind when you come hiking with us.

WATER, WATER EVERYWHERE
Whether it's a day of waterskiing and relaxation at the beach, a canoe or kayak trip down the river, or a dip in one of our community pools, water sports are everywhere for everyone to enjoy in the Valleys & Vistas.

Build a sand castle on warm Minnedosa Beach.. . dip your toes into the sparkling waters of Minnedosa Lake.. . or bring your boat and enjoy a day of waterskiing or just cruising around. Like fishing? You can drop your lure into the calm waters of Lake Irwin just outside Neepawa for a great fight with a feisty Jackfish almost any season.

A family day at the pool? Carberry and Neepawa boast incredible outdoor community pools that offer slides, diving boards, and affordable family fun.

CAMP WITH US
As the night falls, and the crickets come out to play their magical tunes, what tastes better than fresh smokies or marshmallows roasted over an open campfire? What better way to cap off a day of adventure than with a night under the stars?
 
Camping opportunities in the Valleys and Vistas are as varied as the visitors themselves. Whether you're bringing all the comforts of home, or just wanting to pitch your tent, we can accommodate you.  Hundreds of camp sites are available in the region; from fully serviced sites with electrical, water and sani-dump facilities to more rustic lodgings for the true outdoorsman.

Book a site at one of our major Parks or any of the numerous community campgrounds in the region. Minnedosa Campground offers incredible lakeside camping and the Lions Riverbend Campground in Neepawa offers camping down by the meandering Whitemud River. For something truly different, reserve a Yurt in the Kiche Manitou campground in Spruce Woods Provincial Park - after all, not everyone can boast that they've stayed in a Yurt.

GOLF IN THE VALLEYS & VISTAS
Three of Manitoba's most picturesque golf courses are found in the Valleys and Vistas. Regardless of your skill level, each course offers its own unique challenges and a diversity of landscapes and hazards. Elevated tees offer breathtaking views, and interactions between man and nature can be an occasional occurrence. Each course offers a full-service licensed clubhouse, cart rentals, driving range, and lessons.
